Rotunda - Replica Copper Roofing and Cladding
Replacement Copper Systems for Roofing and Cladding Systems - Including Guttering, Fascias and Trims
Background
The centre is named after James Brindley the self-taught engineer of the Adjacent Bridgewater canal, which heralded the Canal Age in Britain in 1765.

The picture above illustrates the dramatic design of the auditorium area. Occupants within the foyer are able to look up directly through the glazed canopy and see the ‘Oxidised Copper Effect’ MCM Panels stretching towards a dramatic sky.
The surrounding buildings in the area have original copper features, indeed the main bridge over the Bridgewater Canal is painted in a copper green shade; this influenced the designers to source a similar material for the Arts Centre’s key features.
