Located to the North-East of Glasgow City centre, the development site sits at a node point between the predominantly residential Townhead area and the central business and educational districts of Glasgow City Centre and the Merchant City.
The primary external material is proposed as a red brick which will reflect the immediate context along St. James Road (the key University buildings along the street are finished in red brick). This will be contrasted against MCM Replica Zinc cladding which will be used as infill within the brick grid.
